BURNHAM / CRAPPS
Looking for descendants of William Alonzo Burnham born 1866 MS. He died 27 Jan
1950 and is buried in Winston Co MS. His wife was Emma or Fannie. Parents were
Alexander H. Burnham and Lydia S. Crapps. We are related through his sister
Nancy Jane Burnham who married Peter Renfro.

WHITE, Virgil Slocum(Sloke) b 1872 d 1954 in Winston Co Ms. and bur. Mt. Carmel
Cem. Wife was Ethel P. Smith. According to the obit in 1954 when he died,
children were: Carlos White of East Point, Ga.; H. I. White of Lincoln,
Nebraska; Mrs. Roy C. Neely of Newnan, Ga.; Mrs. Jessie
Culberson of Durant, Ms.; Mrs. A. W. Tredt of Houston, Texas. Brother of
Virgil: Robert E. Lee White of Cincinnati, Ohio and sisters of Virgil: Maggie
White Honeycutt and Nancy J White Thompson of Columbus, Lowndes Co. Ms. Trying
to find info on this White family. Virgil was a g. uncle. His sister, Ella Jane
White Neal b 1880 d
1950 was my grandmother. Thanks for any help from anyone.

Looking for info on the family of Watson Morris and Sallie Watkins Morris.
Watson b-4 Jul 1842 d-27 Mar 1927. Sallie b-10 Aug 1864 d-2 Nov 1941. Children:
Seward, Boston, Houston, Velma "Pete" and Jack. Lived in Winston and Neshoba
Counties. Watson was a full blooded Choctaw Indian.

I have over 1000 descendants of Thomas Potts who came from Eng to SC before
1725. Many of his descendants lived in Winston Co. MS including Samuel Thomas
Potts, Stephen Miller, and others of the surnames listed in the title.

RICHARDSON, S.W. 36 SC. L. 22 SC 2nd wife, *W.R. male 16 SC., S.C. male 10 SC.,
T.W. male 8 SC. and J.M. male 2 Ms. Believe WR is William who mar.Rachel PARKER
and SC is Simpson who mar. Martha HARKNESS. Have searched everywhere for SW

WHITE, VIRGIL SOLOMON b 1872 Monroe Co. Ms. mar to Ethel P.
SMITH. They were in Winston Co. 1920 census with a child,
Mary L. born that year(1920). Virgil had a sister, Ella Jane who died 1950 and
according to her obit, her brother, Virgil was living in Noxapater, Winston Co.
Ms. Virgil, also known as "Sloke" died 12-24-1954 and bur Mt. Carmel Cem
in Winston Co. Ms. Pls e-mail me if any info on Virgil. I have lots of data on
his siblings and parents. Thanks.

Seeking info on the family and decendants of John Ragan, b 1811 TN, and his
wife, Jane, b 1811 SC, whose family is listed 1-27-28 in the 1850 Census of
Winston Co., MS. John is perhaps the brother of my g-grandfather, Jesse Ragan.

ROBERTSON
I'm attempting to locate information on my ggrandfather, George Louis Robertson
(b. ca. 1870-1885). I believe he was from the Louisville, MS area. He married
Lou [Louisa?] Shows at some point. Two of his children Otis Ervin Robertson,
Sr. (b. 1902) and Louis [Lewis?] later resided in Ellisville, MS (Jones
County).
Any help or direction would be appreciated.

I was born in Louisville, Winston County, MS on July 28, 1937. Father is James
Thomas Shaw, (11-16-1902/6-28-1984) born in Ackerman, Choctaw County, MS and
mother is Hilda Pauline Haimes, (8-5-1906/4-17-1986)born in Sturgis, Winston
County, MS. Both parents passed away in Shreveport, LA. Grandfathers are Thomas
Washington Shaw, born Choctaw County and Robert Boyd Haimes (7-25-1859) born
Winston County. Grandmothers are Mary Almeda Malone Shaw, born Choctaw County
and Ina Mae Green Haimes, born 1882 in Winton County, MS. Searching for
genealogy link as far back as possible.

TUBB
I am trying to find the cemetery in or around Louisville, Winston County, MS
that James Abraham Tubb b: March 17, 1875 in Monroe County, MS, is Buried in.
He died, while woking in the Louisville area, during the depression. I do not
have the date of his death. His family placed a headstone on the grave sometime
in the 1950's. The remaining members of the family do not remember the name of
the cemetery.
Any and all information or suggestions are appreciated.

AARON STEWART born 1790 and wife SARAH BROCK b 1801
lived and had children in Winston Co.
DANIEL RUFUS RUSSELL 1818 and wife TEMPERANCE RUTH FRANKS 1817 Their son's name
was JAMES MYRON RUSSELL and he married the daughter of Aaron Stewart who was
SARAH ISABELL STEWART They married in Louisville Winston Co. in May of 1854.
Daniel and Temperance Russell lived in Neshoba Co.
I would like to share information on any of these families

Hello, I am searching the Buford surname. James and Helen Buford are my great
great grandparents. They are the parents of Victoria Davis Buford and John
Quincy Adams Buford who married Zachariah Steen (my great grandfather) and Mary
Jane Steen, (my great aunt). I am interested in Mary Buford, Victoria and John
Q. sister, who married a Boyette. Also, James Buford killed one of his son in
laws in 1871, Issac Cherry. I am interested in discovering more informaton
about the murder. Any information regarding these families would be

IVY
Looking for information on the Henry IVY family. All we have is that William
Clinton IVY was born In Louisville, Winston County abt. 1890 to Henry and Jency
IVY. There were three other siblings we believe were also born in Ms. One is
Harry Tillman IVY who is my grandfather. We have no information on this family
and would appreciate any help.

My grandfather, T.L. O'Bannon (Thomas Lufee O'Bannon) b. 04/02/1878, married
Mollie M. Files b. 05/19/1877 in or around Winston Co. MS somewhere around
1900. I am looking for information as to where he lived prior to moving to
Winston Co., who his father and mother were, and any other information which
may be available. Both are mentioned in what I assume to be a book called
"Winston Co. and its people" referencing "Dean Files". What this means I do not
know. Any help would be appreciated. He had at least two brothers, one named
Sam? and one named John. There were also some sisters, but how many is unknown.
It is believed they were in the education field. Thanks for your
help.
